Sophia Rosenfeld on Choice

CHESS welcomes Sophia Rosenfeld to both the Yale History Department its steering Committee. Professor Rosenfeld is a scholar of the intellectual and cultural history of eighteenth-century Europe. She’s currently writing a book exploring how the idea of choice became a proxy for freedom in the modern world.
